India

India is currently a college student studying visual arts. She previously took classes at the Academy of Art University. She discovered photography at age 13 when her Dad gave her a disposable camera to use on their trip to Europe one summer. She has been snapping photos ever since. Her photographic subjects vary drastically, but common themes can be seen running throughout all her work, most specifically those of the omittance of the human presence or face and the use of emptiness or the feeling of.

India recently graduated from the International High School in San Francisco and now attends Bennington College in Vermont, where she is concentrating on the visual arts (most closely photography), literature, art history, and museum studies. She adores Vermont; however, she misses her home of San Francisco, which she remains true to. She enjoys eating a Gordo's burrito in GG Park, shopping at Amoeba Records, and drinking mochas in cafes that are not Starbucks.
